SIMON BUTTERWORTH
Simon Butterworth doesn’t have a website. (The link above is to his portfolio on Photo.net.) In our opinion Simon must rate as one of Britain’s finest landscape photographers. His images consistently exhaust superlatives. Simon regularly contributes to books, national magazines and many other publications. His work has also been extensively used by the BBC in recent years.

SCOTTISH LANDSCAPES
Scottish Landscapes is the website for the remarkable landscape photography of Louise and Douglas McGilviray. Sadly, Doug died in November 2007, but as is noted on his and Louise’s website, “his photographic talent will be missed by us all, however his contribution to Scottish Landscape photography is unquestionable.” Louise’s contribution is equally unquestionable, and it is wonderful to know that Doug’s intimate affection for his beloved Scotland will continue to find its voice in Louise’s beautiful photography.

DOUGLAS SALTERI
Douglas Salteri is another Scottish landscape photographer whose love for his country shines through in every exceptional image which he produces.
Dougie’s images are pure, clear, natural representations of Scotland’s beautiful scenery. For those of us who love Scotland and who regret ever having to leave it, Dougie’s art does precisely what landscape photography should do: it allows the viewer to be there with the photographer at the moment of capture.
